Products
Are these products legal in Canada?+
Yes. Research peptides are legal to purchase and possess in Canada for legitimate research purposes. They are not controlled substances under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. However, they are not approved for human use as drugs or supplements.
What does "for research use only" mean?+
Our products are sold strictly for in-vitro and laboratory research. They are not intended for human or animal consumption, and are not approved by Health Canada as drugs or supplements. By purchasing, you confirm you are acquiring them solely for research.
What form do the products come in?+
All peptides are supplied as lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder in sealed vials. This is the standard form for peptide storage as it maximizes stability and shelf life.
How should I store the products?+
Lyophilized peptides should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct light. For long-term storage (months), a freezer is ideal. Once reconstituted, refrigerate and use within a reasonable timeframe. Most lyophilized peptides remain stable at room temperature for short periods during transit.
What is bacteriostatic water and do I need it?+
Bacteriostatic water (bac water) is sterile water with 0.9% benzyl alcohol added, used to reconstitute lyophilized peptides for research. You can add it to any order from our catalogue.
Do your products have CAS numbers and molecular data?+
Yes. Every product listing includes the CAS number, molecular formula, and molecular weight where applicable. We believe proper documentation is non-negotiable.
Shipping
Where do you ship?+
We ship Canada-wide via Canada Post with full tracking. We do not currently ship internationally.
How long does shipping take?+
Regular flat-rate: 3–5 business days. Express (free on orders CA$250+, or available as an upgrade): 1–3 business days. Orders placed before noon EST on business days typically ship same day.
How much does shipping cost?+
CA$20 flat rate on all orders. Free flat-rate shipping on orders CA$150 or more. Orders CA$250 or more get free Canada Post Express shipping.
Is packaging discreet?+
Yes. All orders ship in plain, unmarked boxes with no logos, company name, or any indication of the contents visible on the outside.
Will I get a tracking number?+
Yes — you'll receive an email with your Canada Post tracking number once your order ships. You can also view it any time in your account.
Payment
What payment methods do you accept?+
We accept Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Interac Debit) via Stripe, Interac e-Transfer, and Cryptocurrency (BTC, ETH, USDT).
How do I pay by Interac e-Transfer?+
At checkout, select Interac E-Transfer. After placing your order you'll get full instructions: send to orders@omegaresearch.ca, include your order number in the message field. Auto-deposit is enabled so no security question is needed. If your bank requires one anyway, use: Question — "What is our security word?" / Answer — OMEGA.
How quickly do you process e-Transfer payments?+
Usually within minutes during business hours. Once we receive and confirm your payment, your order goes into the shipping queue immediately.
Are credit card payments secure?+
Yes. Card payments are processed by Stripe, one of the world's most trusted payment processors. We never see or store your card details — everything is handled securely by Stripe.
Do you offer bulk discounts?+
Yes — add 10 or more vials to your cart (any combination of products) and you'll automatically receive a 15% discount on your subtotal.
Orders & Account
Do I need an account to order?+
No — you can check out as a guest. However, creating a free account lets you track your orders, earn loyalty points, and reorder with one click.
What are loyalty points?+
Logged-in customers earn 1 point for every dollar spent. Points can be redeemed at checkout at a rate of 1 point = CA$1 off.
How do I check my order status?+
Log in to your account at omegaresearch.ca/account to view all your orders and their current status. You'll also receive email updates when your order ships.
Can I cancel or change an order?+
Please email orders@omegaresearch.ca as soon as possible. We process orders quickly, so we can't guarantee changes after submission — but we'll do our best.
What if my order arrives damaged or something is missing?+
Email us at orders@omegaresearch.ca with your order number and a description of the issue. We'll make it right.
